In light of series of destructive hurricanes these past few years, protecting your assets and equipment comes to the forefront of the minds of those of us in the transportation industry. “Excess Physical Damage Coverage” is not something most operators think about too often. Many commercial auto insurance policies contain a provision limiting the amount of coverage for any one single physical damage loss. A 1,000,000 limit is a typical amount that many fleet policies will contain.
