My name is Daniel P. Thompson. I am a principal at Epic Insurance Brokers, headquartered in Pearl River, New York. I have worked in our Public Transportation Insurance Division for over 25 years.  My specialties are insuring school bus contractors, limousine companies , charter buses, airport shuttles, commuter buses, taxis, ambulettes and pretty much any other type of commercial vehicle that transports people.

I love what I do!! How many people can say that?? I enjoy meeting new potential clients, discussing their concerns, and seeing how I can help them in their day to day business. Let’s face it- there is no shortage of insurance brokers. Any schmo can get an insurance license!! We are in a business that is chock full of “experts.” Personally, I think your insurance guy or gal should be someone you can depend on to help you in many other areas. My goal is to be a resource for my existing and potential clients. I enjoy fixing problems, and finding an answer to an issue that may not even have anything to do with insurance. I have built a network of professionals in this field, not only from the New York and New Jersey area, but around the country.  I can utilize this to benefit anyone I come in contact with. Vehicle financing, transportation attorneys and vehicle dealers are just some of the types of folks I deal with on a day to day basis.

Aside from working at my office in Pearl River, NY, my interests are coaching baseball, hunting, fishing and anything else outdoors. I live in Orange County, New York with my wife and 3 sons.
